Privacy Policy

CS2Portfol.io (“we”, “us”) is operated by Fantasia Software (trading as Fantasoft), an Australian business. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). This policy explains what we collect, why, where it goes, and your choices. Questions: support@cs2portfol.io.

What we collect

• Steam account data — your SteamID and public profile (persona name, avatar) when you sign in with Steam, and your public CS2 inventory (items, float/pattern, stickers) via Valve’s Steam Web API.
• Contact — an email address you provide for alerts, the weekly digest, the waitlist, or support.
• Payment — if you subscribe to Pro, payment is processed by Stripe; we store a Stripe customer reference, never your card number.
• Usage — basic technical data (device/browser, pages) to run and improve the service.

How we use it

• To provide the service: value and track your inventory, price skins, send the alerts and emails you opt into, and run the prediction game.
• To process Pro subscriptions and prevent abuse.
• We do not sell your personal data.

Third parties we share data with

Only as needed to run the service:

• Valve / Steam — to read your public profile and inventory.
• Pricing sources — SteamWebAPI.com, CSFloat, Skinport, FloatDB (skin identifiers only; no personal data).
• Stripe — payment processing. Supabase — database. Vercel — hosting. Resend — email delivery.
• Anthropic — the optional AI reads send skin/market figures (not your identity) to generate plain-English analysis.

Overseas disclosure

Some of these providers store or process data outside Australia — primarily in the United States (Vercel, Supabase, Stripe, Resend, Anthropic) and wherever Valve/Steam operates. We use reputable providers with their own privacy and security commitments, but by using the service you acknowledge your information may be handled in those locations.

Cookies

We use essential cookies for sign-in/session only. No third-party advertising cookies beyond any ad slots shown to free users (which you can remove by going Pro).

Your choices & rights

• Unsubscribe from emails anytime (one click in any email, or in Settings).
• Request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data by emailing support@cs2portfol.io — we respond within a reasonable time (normally 30 days).
• Your public-inventory showcase is opt-in and off by default; your name on the public Pantheon and Leaderboard shows only if you enable the showcase — otherwise you appear anonymised.
• Complaints: contact us first and we’ll work with you to resolve it. If you’re unsatisfied, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).

Retention & security

We keep your data while your account is active and as needed to provide the service, then delete or anonymise it on request. We use reputable providers and reasonable safeguards, but no system is perfectly secure.

Children

The service isn’t directed at children under 16, and we don’t knowingly collect their data.

We’ll update this page and the date above when this policy changes.
